"Rare & Fine: Uncommon Tunes of Bill Monroe"...Coming Soon! Finally...

Howdy Folks.

Still colder’n a brass brassiere here on Pig Hill but at least there is some encouraging news on the horizon. I think I have finally found a way of getting past a major roadblock as regards releasing my Monroe tunes project that was put together well over a year ago.

At last I can get this out so folks can hear these tunes. I think it will be a treat especially to Monroephiles because most of the numbers have not been heard before unless you happen to be on the fanatics list and hoard everything Monroe like a few of us do. The album has some incredible musicians and musicianship on it. I’m stoked that it will be coming out finally. Once that is done I’ll be able to put some energy towards putting out a project of original tunes that I’ve holding onto for years. Maybe some new ones too. Will have to see what comes to the top.

Anyway, I hope that the Monroe project will be met with open arms. I have a video announcement of it that was very well done and includes footage by Marty Stuart, Ricky Skaggs, and Vince Gill. Mighty nice of them to lend a hand and believe in the project’s importance. I can’t wait for ya’ll to hear these tunes!
